It used to be that when Russell or I were doing something Jack found unpleasant (like changing his diaper) or if we said no to his demand for cookies at 7 a.m., he would request the other one of us. The other day, I told Jack he couldn't hammer on the walls and he screamed "I want my sister NOW!" But Maddie was on to his game and she wouldn't let him hammer on the walls, either (not yet, anyway).
